Just a matter of time now...
John Williams
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (soundtrack)
Packing day lasted about 6 hours, and went fairly smoothly from what I've heard.

I wasn't there. I wish I was, but I was at home. Sick. With a fever.

The doctor says it's viral pharyngitis, and boy does it hurt. It's hard to eat anything because every swallow feels like someone is stabbing a needle in my throat.

And now I have those two FEE essays to write. :-| Bad timing, eh?

Oh, and one more thing. It looks like I have hypothyroid disorder, so now I'm on medication for that. Hopefully I can get it straightened out...but you know, that's life.

Anyway, lot's of things are happening. Exciting things. It's crazy.

Hon. John Nsambu, a member of the Ugandan parliament who works with Computers for Uganda has just become the Minister of ICT in Uganda (the first parliament member ever to have this position, as the Ministry of ICT was created this year). Congrats, John! Amazing.

Also, at the doctor's this week I happened to come across an article in Time about the work of Inveneo in Western Uganda--some in incredible stuff. They set up a WiFi Internet access system in a village in Western Uganda, and they're coming back again to install these systems in schools around Kampala. Anyway, I contacted them regarding the Computers for Uganda project, and got an email back. Insane. They want to meet with Fredrik, Dr. Graeber and me. I'm really excited to see where this goes.

And MIT next year. Endless opportunities.

Endless.

I simply...cannot fathom it all right now.
